Life After You - Daughtry

Ten miles from town and I just broke down

Spittin' out smoke on the side of the road

I'm out here alone just tryin' to get home

To tell you I was wrong but you already know

Believe me I won't stop at nothin'

To see you so I've started runnin'

(chorus)

All that I'm after is a life full of laughter

As long as I'm laughing with you

I'm thinkin' that all that still matters is love ever after

After the life we've been through

'Cause I know there's no life after you

Last time we talked, the night that I walked

Burns like an iron in the back of my mind

I must've been high to say you and I

Weren't meant to be and just wasting my time

Oh, why did I ever doubt you?

You know I would die here without you

(chorus)

You and I, right or wrong, there's no other one

After this time I spent alone

It's hard to believe that a man with sight could be so blind

Thinkin' 'bout the better times, must've been outta my mind

So I'm runnin' back to tell you

All that I'm after is a life full of laughter

Without you God knows what I'd do

(chorus)

current playlist

heyho!
just wanna share my top 10 songs on my "most played" playlist this month.
not all of them are spankin new, but I just love to press "play" over and over again.

1. Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizon
I knew this song long long ago but never knew the title, until last Sunday. on our way back from Puncak, some friends sang this song. I asked Shinta what the title was, then surfed for it on 4shared, and voila! it's already on my iTunes Library now.

2. Morning After Dark - Timbaland ft. Soshy & Nelly Furtado
"My moon belongs to your sun. Your fire is burning my mind."
I always love Mr. Timb's songs, all of them. It's like he always has his own touch in every single song he wrote.  just listen some of his songs such as 4 Minutes, Give It To Me, etc. think they're bit similar, but still, he's never boring!

3. Sexy Bitch (ft. Akon), Toyfriend (ft. Wynter Gordon), I Wanna Get Crazy (ft. Will I Am) - all from David Guetta
actually I'm never a big fan of him. one day I heard Sexy Bitch played on the radio, and kinda love it. then I downloaded more songs from him, just to add more files to my library. and now those songs above take over my head simply aaallll day long. the tunes are ear-catchy and super easy to memorize.
just so you know, lately I'm really into club music, don't know why. I was never a big fan of electropop, electrohiphop, or whatever. at least until now

4. Fireflies, Strawberry Avalanche, Vanilla Twilight - Owl City
well, not so many things I can say about Owl City, since I don't really know about them either. but I like his choice of words, simply meaningful.

5. Undisclosed Desires - Muse
"I want to reconcile the violence in your heart.
I want to recognize your beauty's not just a mask.
I want to exorcise the demons from your past.
I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart."
first time I heard it, I just couldn't believe it's MUSE. so-not-Muse, but LOVE IT.

6. Carnival - The Cardigans
"I will never know, cause you will never show. Come on and love me now."
I knew this song in the middle of my 1st term, when FIB held some kind of acoustic performance in front of Gedung 9. the girl who sang it had such marvelous voice, so I browsed for the song right after I got back my kost room. after all these months, it's still on top of my most-played.

7. 21 Guns - Green Day
they're like one of my most devoted bands on earth. I memorize almost all singles from the album American Idiot, so maybe it could give you better image about how much I'm addicted to them. and fyi, about 21 Guns, it reminds me of one person and one particular memory I had with him. not gonna tell you who he is, just guess it yourself, 'kay?

8. Ring A Ling - Black Eyed Peas
Elvina, a friend of my ex, told me about this song looong time ago, and I just remembered to download it 3-4 months after. the whole lyrics are sort of, krik krik krik. they only consist of "Ring a ling a ling ling, ring a ling a ling ling, ring a ling a ling ling, ring a ling a ling ling, ring a ling, hello hello hello" and some other ringringringrings. but the melody is super ear-friendly, just like every single songs from BEP.

9. Down - Jay Sean ft. Lil Wayne
well well, who doesn't love this song, anyway?

10. Who Says - John Mayer
Aan gave me the whole album last December, and I never gave a try to listen them all. one day I set my iTunes to shuffle mode, it played Who Says, and I fell in love straight at that moment. the sound of the guitar is kinda relaxing. then I browsed the lyrics on letssingit.com and I LOVE THIS SONG EVEN MORE. it's just soooooo me.
"It's been a long night in NYC.
It's been a long night in Baton Rouge.
I don't remember you looking any better.
But then again I don't remember you.
Who says I can't get stoned?
Call up a girl that I used to know.
Fake love for an hour or so.
Who says I can't get stoned?"

right after I typed the line above, my mom called and throwed my towel at me. my dad's coming back from Pekanbaru, and we gonna pick him up at Airport. guess I have to leave ASAP, see you people! hope daddy's gonna get back safely, AMEN.

see you with another story dear people, bye!

3 months without blog post

okay, I almost forgot having this one blog.
more precise : my internet modem is too damn distressing. it could possibly take minutes to load my blog page, and even longer to post something.

so I'm back now. M2 is kinda generous today. HELLO!

mm. don't know what to type. well, gonna start with basic thingy then : review.

I've already got through my first term. and my GPA was far beyond expectation. I simply shrieked the first time I saw my final scores. soooo happy that I can prove my parents' disappointment to be wrong, at least so far. let's just hope for a better 2nd term AMEN.

December 2009, 107.9 RTC UI FM trusted me to be one of their new announcers. soooo thankful for the chance they've given me. there are 17 other announcers beside me, and this year RTC accepted about 75 new members in general. so many new friends, so many new experience, so many new things waiting ahead.
no need to say, I'm happy to be part of them.

last weekend, January 16th-17th, was spent with RTC colleagues in Puncak. both the olds and the news joined the night and it was superduperhyper fun! lemme explain why :

1. that was my first time having a ride in a TRONTON. yes, the one used by troops or polices. it was raining outside and my face was splashed pretty often. besides, the whole ride shook so bad like some kind of wahana Dufan. but in spite of those, I kinda enjoy it. seriously.

2. when we got there, nobody knew what to do next. so we just sat in the living room, chatted and joked around. there was a friend of us. his name was Jay and he was super hilarious. he made everyone laugh, even when he simply did NOTHING. and guess what, he is an announcer. but not a regular announcer like me. he's a MUSHOLA ANNOUNCER, for God's sake. I can't imagine how the session would be with him joking all the time.

3. before the event, we've once told to bring tampah. yes, I mean the flat round thing you use to shake rice grains. I had no idea why we would need it. then when dinner time came...
our seniors put big piles of rice on each tampah, and also some fried chickens and crackers on it. then they said : YAK SUDAH TAU TAMPAHNYA BUAT APA? we : MAKAAANNNNNNN they : YAK BETOOLLL. YAUDAH LANGSUNG MAKAN AJA.
then I ate with 9 other friends, that made 5 boys and 5 girls in our group. our hands were unrecognizable on that rice mount. I didn't even have chance to feel like, ewwhhhhh, or gross, or whatever. we were too damn starving. but the same as before, I LOVE IT. so much fun!

4. other sweet, fun, hilarious memories that I won't share here. just wanna keep it between me, my RTC friends, and maybe my diary :)

this Saturday I'll have my first announcer training. well, hope it will go smoothly good.

enough about that. it's 11.37 PM now and I start to feel bit sleepy. I was supposed to go online at 8 PM, to discuss something devilish with my teammates on RTC. but apparently there was something wrong and no one appeared. yea, no one but Shinta and I. well well..

and talking about my teammates, I LOVE THEM. see my album on Facebook to know more about them.

I'll post another rant later. smell you around people
A dieu!
