1 dress, 10 ways

featuring Hunter Dress from Majic (on twitter @wecreatemajic), one of Indonesia's promising local brands.

I bought this dress on the last Brightspot Market (around September if I'm not mistaken) from Happy-Go-Lucky booth. since Brightspot is only a "3-day market", you can find the products they sold in The Goods Dept. (Plaza Indonesia Extension Jkt), Level One Project (Grand Indonesia Jkt) or Happy-Go-Lucky house (Jl. Ciliwung Bdg).

and about the dress itself, it's a very simple A-line dress with 2 sashes (the long parts that resemble a rope) attached below it.

you can tie up this part here and there, twist the dress, simply any ways that cross your mind, just do it. you can make unlimited series of new ways to wear it. so far I've found 10

look #1 - Trio Tiny Tie
quite easy, it's like making a mini bow on one shoulder

look #2 - Poodle Curl
tie the 2 sashes behind your neck so that it will hang there

look #3 - Empire's New Groove
turn over the left side of the dress, tie it around your empire line. adjust the neck line to create a V-neck

look #4 - Cocoon
fold the sleeve inside to change it into a tube dress. tie up the sash around your waist and adjust the rest of the fabric

look #5 - Crossropes
almost similar to look #2, but now you switch the position to make an X

look #6 - Separated
adjust the left side of the dress until it covers your right chest and drop into smooth drapes. tie the tip of the dress into the right sleeve. take the right side, tie up the sash around your waist.

look #7 - Raw Greek
gather up all the fabrics and wrap your body with it. tie up all the sashes into small bow and put it inside the dress, between your legs.

look #8 - Jump Baby Jump
take the front and back part of the dress, tie it up together to make the "pants". then adjust the left and right sashes until the rest of the fabric cover up your legs. tie the sash like a small bow. wear a belt to curve up your torso

look #9 - Breeze On My Butty
easy. you only need to "relocate" the neck line and move it to your waist. tie up the rest of the fabric behind your back. wear a big belt to hold the pants up

look #10 - Fifties In A Fun Twist
even easier. undo all the tied parts so it will be a flare midi skirt

next time I'll try with another ways. hope I could find another 10.
and thanks to my sister for volunteering herself as model!

until the next post people!
